Does it actually work
It wobbles.
Then it settles.
Push it. Sit down next to it. Let the dog jump up. The base flexes, spreads the weight across the cushion, and the drink comes back level.
One continuous take on a regular couch cushion. No cuts, no music — it's the same demo we do in person at shows.
Wobble-then-settle
Unedited single take
The situation
You've been solving this all along.
The coffee table you have to lean for. The arm of the couch, if you don't move. The floor, where the dog is. Wedged between two cushions, at an angle you're choosing to trust.
None of it is a disaster. It's just something you've been managing, every single night, without noticing.
What you get
Five reasons it stays out.
Stays where you put it
The flexible base spreads across the cushion instead of balancing on it. Sit down, shift, get up — it holds steady.
Fits what you already drink
Tumblers, cans, bottles, mugs, kids' cups. Cans and bottles slide on. Cups and tumblers drop in from the top, through the fins.
Goes wherever the couch isn't
Bed, carpet, camp chair, patio, back seat. Anywhere flat, soft, or slightly uneven.
Looks like it belongs in the room
Eight colors, matte finish, made to sit out — not to be hidden when people come over.
Weighs almost nothing
Toss it in a bag. Move it seat to seat. There's nothing to install and nothing to clean up after.

How it works
Three parts,
no moving parts.
Soft cushions swallow narrow objects. The wide flexible base sits across the surface instead of sinking into one spot.
Flexible fins hold the container from the sides, so it doesn't rattle around or slip through.
Push it off level and it comes back — the flex absorbs the movement instead of transferring it to your drink.
Will it fit my cup
Measure the bottom,
not the top.
If the base of your drink measures about 2 to 3 inches across, it fits. That's most tumblers, standard and slim cans, bottles, mugs, and kids' cups.
The quick test: a sticky note is exactly 3 inches. If the bottom of your cup sits inside a sticky note, you're good.

- Yeti Rambler 30 oz [MEASURE] in ✓
- Standard 12 oz can [MEASURE] in ✓
- Slim can [MEASURE] in ✓
- Water bottle [MEASURE] in ✓

Measurements are the container base. There's a floor as well as a ceiling — under about 2 inches (53 mm) it sits too loose.

Your couch
Every couch has its own version of this.
Both hands busy. Controller, laptop, book, baby. The drink can wait right there.
one Sage · one Charcoal
Why more than one
Two identical tumblers.
One question.
Everybody on the couch has the same 40-ounce tumbler now. "Which one's mine?" gets solved the moment they're different colors.
That's actually how it started at our house — my wife and I have the same Stanley. Mine's the Charcoal one.
Eight colors, or a matched set for the room.
Build your set
Give everyone their own.
Pick a pack, then give each one a color — so on the couch, nobody has to ask which drink is theirs.
1 · Pick your pack
2 · Give each one a color
Soon you'll be able to put a name on each one — so there's no mistaking whose is whose, even when the colors match.

Love this item!! Bought for my six year old who constantly tips things over. It works like a charm, not only does it hold a can it holds a plastic cup. No spills since purchase. Thank you
Doreen Felczuk · July 1, 2026Literally love these. Living with chronic illness sucks and often means dinner in bed, and limiting my beverage to my side table when I have the whole mattress to picnic? I was wishing something like this existed and the algorithm delivered. Simple, lightweight, flexible! Immediately rec’d to all my friends, regardless of ability.
Two thoughts- a version for mugs? Also, bright color options so I can have a hilighter orange to match my aesthetic.
OMG!!!!! YOU HAVE TO BUY THESE!!!!!! i tested it out today on an old tv tray (wood and very slippery) and put a soda in it and played like “oops i bumped my tray” (and really hard) and NADA, NOPE, NOT AN INCH OF MOVEMENT from the STEADI. everything else went flying!!! cuz dummy me didn’t remove those other items first 🙃 duh!!!
and no it was not suctioned to my tray cuz it doesn’t do that. but WOW!!!!! what a great invention. wish i was thinking up this GREAT IDEA, instead of binge watching TRAITORS tv shows and SPILLING my soda as i jump with excitement/anger over the show.
the plus side, while flipping thru FB (while the commercial is on) or i’m cleaning up my spilt soda 🤪….. i saw this ad and it was like angels were singing “BUY ME AND UR PRAYERS ARE ANSWERED”. so glad i did. they work great!!! i bought the 4ct from actual website and it shipped quick and packaging was perfect.
all 4 colors are great!! black, white, deep terracotta (plant holder) color. very very nice color. especially during the fall. and a muted warm sage color. very nice also.
FYI:: i forgot to mention, i even tested this out with a 8oz dinner cup and it worked perfectly. but put the cup in FIRST then add beverage…..LOL learn from my dumb remark of “i can get it around the cup filled to the brim and not drop a lick of this drink. well WRONG!!!! 😑 LOL!!! user error not the STEADI.
buy this and trust me u won’t want to return it. oh and it is comfortable to hold. and actually, now i can set my can of soda down with a mighty slap on the table and a huff and puff in disgust, if my tv show is calling for my dark side to come out in anger, of their decision of who to banish on TRAITORS (US/UK/NZ/ and now CANDA)!! ENJOY!!!! and THANK YOU TO THE INVENTOR!!!!! i hear it’s a father of 3. 🤷♀️
These things are awesome! I drink more Diet Pepsi than I care to admit. And my wife likes to fill my end tables with little knickknacks or pictures so I usually drink from the small plastic bottles that I can close and have them lay on the couch beside me. Now I go for the cheaper cans! My son even thought it was a good idea. But he likes to stick his McDonald’s soda cup in there. It still works, so we’ll see how that goes.
John T. · June 9, 2026Absolutely love these holders. When I showed them to my husband, he was amazed. He has stage 4 cancer and is jitttery. No more knocking cups over !!
Patricia Bruce · June 1, 2026Excellent

Who makes it
Made by hand in Orange, California.
We started Steadi Labs after getting tired of the same small problem everyone has and nobody solves. The molds, the material, the color runs — all of it happens within about ten miles of the shop.
Veteran-founded. Patent pending. Small enough that the emails get answered by the person who made the thing.
— Scott, Steadi Labs
The guarantee
Thirty days on your own couch.
Use it every night for a month. If it doesn't do exactly what we said, email us and we'll make it right — you don't need to fight for it, and you don't need to explain yourself.

Before you buy
Questions people actually ask.
Will it really stay upright on a soft cushion?
That's the whole reason it's shaped this way. A narrow base sinks into a cushion and tips — a wide flexible one spreads across it. Push it and it comes back level. The video near the top of this page is one continuous take on a regular couch cushion, and it's the same demo we do in person at shows.
Will my tumbler fit?
Measure the bottom of your cup, not the top. Anything with a base of about 2 to 3 inches across fits. A sticky note is exactly 3 inches — if the base of your cup sits inside one, you're set. Stanley 40 oz, Yeti Ramblers, standard and slim cans, bottles, mugs, and most kids' cups all fit.
What if someone sits down right next to it?
The cushion dips and the base flexes with it. That's the wobble-then-settle — it moves, then it comes back. It's not rigid, and that's on purpose. Rigid is what tips.
Is it bulky? Will it look bad in my living room?
It's about the footprint of a coaster and a couple of inches tall, in matte colors chosen to sit out. Nobody hides these in a drawer — that's the point of the eight colors.
Does it attach to my couch?
No. Nothing clips, sticks, straps, or screws to your furniture. It sits on top and picks up and moves whenever you want.
Will it fit over a koozie?
Take the koozie off and put the can straight in — it grips the can directly and holds it steady, which a koozie doesn't do. A koozie inside is usually too wide.
How do I clean it?
Rinse it, or run it through the dishwasher. It's one solid piece of flexible material with nothing to come apart.
Why haven't I seen this before?
Because it's new. Steadi Labs is a small independent company in Orange, California, and this is our first product — it's patent pending, so nobody else is making it. Most people meet it at a boat show or a market, or through a friend who has one.
Why does checkout happen on steadilabs.com?
Steadi Labs is the company that makes it — this site is about one thing, the couch, but the product itself is called Steadi and it's made in Orange, California. Every order goes through the same checkout, the same shop, and the same 30-day guarantee. Your cart carries over exactly as you built it.
How fast does it ship, and what if I don't like it?
Orders leave Orange, California within one business day, free, on every order. If it's not right for you, email us within 30 days and we'll take care of it. It's Scott who reads those — I'd rather fix it than have you keep something you don't use.
