What we collect, why we collect it, and how to get it deleted. Written to be read, not to be skipped.

The short version
To send you a drink holder we need to know your name, where you live, and how to email you. Our payment processor handles the card — we never see or store the full number. We also use analytics and advertising tools that tell us how people find and use this site.
If you'd rather we didn't hold any of it, email hello@steadilabs.com and we'll delete what we can.
Who this is
This site is run by Steadi Labs, a small company in Orange, California. Checkout runs on steadilabs.com using our store platform, so information you enter at checkout is collected there.
What we collect
When you order
- Your name and shipping address
- Your email address, and your phone number if you give us one
- What you bought, in what colors, and what you paid
When you pay
Payment is handled by our payment processor. We do not store your card number — we get back a confirmation that the payment worked and the last few digits, which is what lets us find your order later.
When you browse
- Google Analytics 4, so we can see which pages people read and where they give up. Mostly aggregate: pages, devices, rough location, how you got here.
- The Meta advertising pixel, which tells Meta that a visit or a purchase happened. It's how we know whether an ad worked, and it's how you end up seeing our ads again.
Both of these set cookies and both share activity data with the companies that run them. That's what they are — we'd rather say so plainly than bury it.
What we do with it
- Pack your order and get it to the right address
- Email you order confirmations, shipping updates, and tracking
- Answer you when you email us
- Send marketing email, if you're on our list
- Understand what's working on the site and in our ads
Order-related email — confirmations, shipping, replies to your questions — comes with buying something, and we'll always send those.
Marketing email is separate. Every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, one click, no questions. You can also just email us and ask to come off the list.
Who else sees it
Only the companies that make the order happen, and only the part they need:
- Our store and hosting platforms
- Our payment processor
- The shipping carrier, which needs your address
- Google and Meta, for the analytics and advertising described above
We don't sell customer lists. We should be straight with you about one thing, though: the advertising pixel shares site-activity data with Meta, and under some California definitions that sharing counts as a sale or share of personal information. You can stop it by blocking cookies in your browser, using your device's tracking controls, or emailing us to ask.
Cookies
The store uses cookies to keep your cart working. Analytics and advertising cookies do the jobs described above. Your browser can block or clear any of them — the shop will still work, though the cart may forget you.
Your choices
Wherever you live, you can email hello@steadilabs.com and ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct it if it's wrong
- Delete it, as far as we're able
- Take you off marketing email
We're a California company, and California residents have rights over their personal information under state law, including the right to know what's collected and to ask for deletion. We'll honor those requests from anyone who asks, not just Californians — it's simpler that way, and fairer.
Some information we have to keep: order and tax records, mostly. We'll tell you if that applies to your request.
Children
This site isn't aimed at children and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us something, email us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this page
If what we collect changes, this page changes, and the date at the top changes with it.
Data requests
Email hello@steadilabs.com. A person reads it, and you'll get a real answer.
